We do a lot of different type of projects at Flyway Media, but this one was unique in it's own.
The brand, Slap Out Sports Athletic Apparel, had a great concept but poor execution from previous providers. No eyeballs simply equals not much traction. But that will change.
The very first thing we did was design a page with an attitude that matched the brand. This included a lot of animation, including the logo almost slapping you in the face LOL. You can see the flash and the attitude throughout the website, especially on the homepage.
Next, we literally reworded the ENTIRE website from scratch. This takes a lot of work, and it's simply work that most web design companies don't do. But here at Flyway Media, we KNOW that it'll take unique content to rank well on search engines for not only the brand, but also general searches for the clothing styles they sell.
Then, we gave the site an overhaul that'll perform well over time via online searches (mostly Google). Let's face it, with E-commerce it can be a numbers game. And in order for the numbers to work, you MUST have a decent volume of daily traffic. No exceptions, or you're simply wasting money.
And what's unfortunate is that a lot of companies will take your money, do very little for you and your company, only leaving you with a big bill and nothing to recoup the costs.
Slap Out Sports is set to be a solid brand over time. Through new product advancements, a great social media push, and various promotions can keep the train rolling and create a constant stream of revenue.
After all, why else are you in business if you're not making money?
